I know I'm new here but I think it would be a good idea to have a tyre and wheel review section.

People if they were so inclined could post a review of there tyres

Things like
tyre size,
what pressure they run at,
Tube/tubeless,
where they bought them from,
Price,
Road noise,
Grippy ness, (dry, wet, snow, mud, beach)
Double/triple side wall,
Comments

May be a scoring system. A set of guild lines so each review has the same info. As more people review the same tyres keep them in one thread and build up a full profile will build up.

Same sort of thing for wheels,
What model,
Spaces needed, etc.
What size tyres they take.

That's the point you don't have to search, try putting in a search for err say bf Goodrich, you get 500 results back over 20 pages, I can assume that this is the maximum results allowed to return, alot not relevant to what you need to know, for sale section etc.

I truly believe your right in what you say all the info for a lot of tyres are there, just finding it.

If there was a tyre section you could go right to.
 
please god no tyre section

you will start off all the other people wanting sections for cleaning cars, dvd players, spacker navigation, etc etc

once you open the flood gate there is no shutting it!
 
There's no useful information about tyres on landyzone , unless you consider "round black ones" to be of some benefit !

The problem is for every tyre performance question you'll get 20 different opinions......and that’s if only 6 people reply.

Pressures depend on a whole bunch of variables and price constantly fluctuates.

Sizes are useful with or without lifts/mods and there's a sticky in the Disco section for just that and if anyone wants to compile one for different models that'd be cool
 
All I was thinking was a topic or sub topic with a thread in for tyre reviews for each type.

So say someone does a review of cooper at/3 there would be a thread called

Cooper at/3

In the threat there would be a standard set of information and a review of them.

Locked thread no one able to ask questions, argue, disagree.

Some one else reviews the tyre, they submit a review and info on it, it gets added as another post in that thread.

Then it's up to the viewer to read through all the threads and look at peoples options and make up there own mines.

I just think it might be a good resource for information.

actually i generally find tyres of the roundish and vaguely black in appearance to be the bestest ones

Those square red ones are just crap!
