Hi guys, just a quick question,

From what I have read once you get the 'Eas fault' the only way to clear it is via the cable/software solution?

My car today about 100m from work decided that it would like to be forever at the 'normal' hight and flashed up the fault which is just typical as I had just resolved the death wobble and other associated issues!!

Any of the gurus think I will be ok to drive it as restaurant booked!

Cheers

There are soft faults and hard faults, if it's a soft fault you will have the up arrow on the dash and it will have gone up to wading height. It may recover next time you start it. Otherwise it will quickly go to hard fault and drop to the bump stops. If it is up and level and doesn't drop overnight, you could pull the timer relay under the passenger seat which will disable the EAS and if there are no leaks it will stay up for days.

I do the cable and software.

Yes have the up arrow on dash, looks normal ish hight but hard to tell.

Thanks for the tips Datatek, no leaks so will give that a go.

Well got me to and from the restaurant so it will chalk that up as a win! (Hehe)

Defiantly not on stops and not quite wade hight oddly. Anyway I'm sure it will get worse tomorrow :)

Cheers

If you supply your rough location in your profile, or post it, there might be someone nearby willing to read your fault codes for you.
