two pin ignition amplifier to 3 pin need diagram

hullo lads well got new base plate pick up and ampilfier +coil+rotor+cap+leads+quads fireing plugs put it all truck slight problem any body got a wiring diagram or idoits diagram for how to wire the 3 pin up as mine was a two pin and if it just a matter of 3 simple wires on a plug with one of them joined to the other i refuse to pay 18.50 + vat to get robbed when i can convert a lead of an old rover
