To have my bulkhead collected, blasted, acid dipped, galvanise dipped and delivered was £400 odd quid,

A company down the road will shot blast and paint a two-pack marine primer for £70.

I've chosen this option so will let you know outcome.

Anyone used the marine two pack primer on theirs?

Will top coat myself with compressor and spray gun as well as fill to brim with waxoyl....

Fingers crossed!

Get it galvanised - usually about £50 for a ton so you could get it done plus any other metal work.

People say they warp but they don't to any extent you would be concerned, the foot wells can sometimes bow a little but it causes no issues and you don't see it as it's very very slight - LR did offered galvanised BH's for special vehicles at one point and thats all they did was got a standard BH and got it dipped.

You can get get special primers, acid etch etc so you can give it a paint too - you can do that yourself.
