Hi All,

I am working through the rust on my Disco 200 3 door and after just performing a 50mm body lift I now need to look at the suspension. (Now I know that I don't really need to but hey - A lifted Disco looks mean lol)

I want just a simple 50mm lift and am looking at anything other than Britpart.

I would like some constructive input please and just so you know I am not a dreamer and have set aside enough money for the repairs and the suspension plus my wheels and tyres - so here we go......

Wheels and Tyres
I am planning on using 33x12.5x15's (Thank Mr Noisy For That!!!!) I like the way the Disco sits on these and I do use the vehicle off road quite a bit along with urban terrorising :D

Suspension
I have seen front tubular turrets which lower the shocks by 50mm along with sock relocators for the rear. I presume this is so I can use standard length shocks.

Shall I benefit from using these relocators and still use +50mm shocks?

Do I need to strap the rear axle?

I will be using spring relocators front and rear as I plan on maximum articulation - well as much as I can achieve.

Trailing Arms and Props
I understand that i will need to have new trailing arms and wide angle props. Do I need wide angle props front AND rear?

Twin Shocks
I like the idea of a twin shock set up. What are the benefits and pit falls? I know that I have to trim the front inner wings but as I am replacing both sides with new items I have no worries doing this.

Thanks for your help.:)
