I plan to buy a 110 for work,it will be carrying about a ton of weight all day and thus when reversing up peoples steep drive ways I would probably put it into low range.I've been told thats ok if your stay in a straight line, but turning would load up the gear box and eventually shag it,or knacker the front diff.Is this true? Or would the "center diff" help limit the problem? Thanks in advance.:)

Perhaps it is worth mentioning that if this was any Series LandRover BEFORE Defender types, going in to LOW range ALSO engaged solid drive (NO centre diff) to the front axle whether you liked it or not, and this would indeed doa s the guy described.

In permanent four wheel drive, HI range or LO, there isn't a problem.

There are lots of benefits - such as your risk of slipping are MUCH less.
