Yet another ressurection of this thread as I finally got my arse into gear and doing my trailer and came acros this ...
Excuse the ****ty welding
Sankey axle extended 170mm to match track of my freelander
PCD and studs changed on sankey hubs to 114.3 x 5 to take freelander wheels (original studs ground flush with hub face and welded in place to keep integrity )
Nato hitch raised to max height without it hitting door
Currently have a freelander here getting broken as I am after the auto box from it ...
Hope to have proper load carrying trailer on the road and matching my freelander by summer

Although I must admit that orange and black camo freelander does look quite cool, I think the black wheels set it off nicely.

Why not?? They're over priced, leaky, noisy, uncomfortable to drive and get stolen loads. Oh and most of them are rot boxes that you can open with a spoon
