Turbo tweeks

Does anyone know or have tweeked the boost pressure on a disco 300tdi and what bar to go up to. If it helps it has a safari snorkel, clean intercooler, removed egr valve and i've decatted the exhaust. Or any other advice to help it go better

First make sure your air filter is clean then check turbo hoses are getting pressure. Go under bonnet and rev engine while squeezing turbo hose.You should feel them go firm.Any splits or leaks and you wont get any boost.Have you tried a bit of veg oil? Its good at cleaning fuel tank and pipes.but make sure you carry some spare fuel and a fuel filter in case it gets blocked.It seemed to do the trick with mine.Fuel pipes can get clogged on old tdi 's with bacterial sludge causing lack of power .Its just a matter of trying every thing till you solve the problem.

why dont you tweak the fuel distributor? i did mine the other day and the results are a lot better bottom end and mid-range.its an easy job and only takes 15 mins.make sure you dont get greedy and tweak it too much or you will end up with loads of black smoke and could destroy your engine! if you do a search on google about "pump tweaks on a 300 tdi" you will find all the info and pictures on how to do it.you will be amazed at the difference!
