Turbo problem

We have a 2011 Freelander 2 came up with reduced performance fault code 2263 .have removed turbo to have checked and rebuilt on removal of manifold heat shield found 3 broken studs ratting round in the heat shield the ones that hold the exhaust manifold on anyone ever had this

Under normal circumstances, the exhaust manifold bolts shouldn't break. They might have been over tightened in a previous repair however.
What mileage is on the turbo? Normal these turbos are normally good for 200k, so seldom fail.

It's done 150k not 100%sure that turbo is the fault after finding the studs floating about . nightmare is now getting the the snapped ones out
