Tubular Bumper

I'm hopfully going to order a tubular bumper next timne pay day comes round and i'm just thinking whats the best place to put the number plate? any ideas?

why you wanna tubular affair? you got a winch? number plate can go to one side of the bumper wi cable ties or below the windscreen

Can always get sticky back velcro, some on the numberplate and some on the bumper, works on the side of dad's tubular bumper. Failing that, zip tie to grill/bumper/roof, sticker type along edge of bonnet, stick it to the bulkhead flap, or just wedge it in the bottom of the windscreen down behind the dash.

I don't know the legal technicalities for these (other than bumper/grill are legal)

getting tubular because i'm a tart, just think they look really good.

yep sealed with tiger seal and painted

I had a tubular bumper on the 90 (Non Winch) and it had a solid plated for the numberplate to fix to. but I fitted me plate to the front grill

Does it make any difference to soggy footwells? I'm guessing you didn't bother fitting the seals as well as tiger seal? Considering doing it to mine, more just to stop rot a bit longer (and with a mud console it covers almost all of one anyway)

i didnt suffer any leaks b4 i just never used the vents and just didnt want water getting in when i do deep wading..removed the foam seals b4 tiger seal

as a little tip when you seal them up dilute some fairy liquid and put into a spray bottle and spray onto tiger seal you can then smooth the seal a lot better..

Actually just looked at me 90 again & I like that black!! MMMM wonder what the Disco would look like in Satin Black??

thought about sticking it to the vent, just wondering what the old bill would have to say when i'm driving around with my flaps open and they cant see a number plate properly.

Number plate is supposed to be mounted to front of vehickle..
