Morning guys.
Hope your all staying well.

As you may know I'm doing some body work on my 90, and I've removed the tub to crossmember bolts, as well as the bracket that sits across the top of the crossmember to tackle some galvanic corrosion.

Anyway, stupidly of me, I should have took a dimension of the gap between the crossmember and tub, but I forgot. And know the tub seems to have raised while it's been loose. So ford anyone know the size between the two arrows please, or do I just clamp it down?

Secondly, on the later td5s/pumas with the cross member tabs on the inside of the tub, like what is pictured. Does anyone know if the aluminium where the bolts go through is double skinned just above the upper arrow only under the back door? I would be most greatful if someone could have a look for me on a later vehicle please?

Thanks all. Stay safe

It doesnt really matter, what matters is it all aligns with the doors. Use a straight edge along the body and doors.

Cheers mate. Ahh I see, doors are off at the moment, as is the roof and windscreen frame. Do you think it would pay me to leave the tub fixings to last to ensure I have a good door shut gap?

Thanks James. For some strange reason my tub has lifted slightly, not sure if it's because the roof and van panels are off? Also, is it single skinned where the bolts go through on the later tub?
Thankyou
