TTI CB radio & Kenwood head unit

The CB radio only receives - it does not transmit.
You can hear the tone of the radio change when you push the mic button in but people can't hear you.
It happened whilst out laning one day. One minute people could hear me - the next - nada. Nothing.
If anyone thinks this may be a simple fix then great - it'll be a bargain.
Includes mounting bracket and mic.

The head unit is a Kenwood face-off cassette player. It worked fine up until the point I removed it 3 weeks ago, so hasn't been sitting in a damp garage for X amount of time.
It has no fixing cage or facia surround, but it does come with wiring harness which will plug straight into your existing plugs.




For the pair together - £15 collected from Tamworth, Staffs or £22 delivered.
The items you see on the table in the picture are what you get. Nothing more.

Had it been SWR'd in or had its SWR checked recently??

Thought mine was playing up till I figured it was only when the heater was on that folk couldn't hear me

I've had it in 2 different Discoveries now, mate, and it threw up the same problem both times.
I've replaced it now, so just looking to pass on a potential bargain to someone who knows how to fix it.

How much would you take for it including postage to central scotland?

Final bump before they get binned or even taken to Cash Converters in exchange for 11p.

Yup, wouldn't have it. I'm told it's just a burnt out resistor inside the unit itself but have got a new CB now.

If anyone wants either I'm happy for you to just cover the postage without any charge for the either the CB or head unit, or simply collect for free.
