hi all right i have searched this but cant seem to find a definite answer on this, so just want to try and clarify a few things,

im after either some 33" or 285 tyres, currently the landy has 205 tyres! its been lifted 2" already so looks like a shopping trolley!

my standard wheels are 16" but for 33" tyres i would need new 15" offset rims? but with how much offset?

or if i got some 285/75/16 tyres would i need spacers or offset wheels again? if so how much offset?

ive been looking at these two packages

http://tyresdirectuk.co.uk/shop/pro...on-15x10-Black-Modular-(Land-Rover)-&id=17401

but would they fit straight on with no problems?

or would it be easier to just get some 265 tyres for now as they will be a massive improvement on the current tyres any way and loads cheaper?

cheers for your help

alex

I have 265's on. I rub on full lock.
They look plenty meaty enough.

I have a set of 235 MUDs but never put them on as they look a bit dinky in comparison. I also have a 2" lift

i have 33" BFG's on paddocks modular wheels, they dont rub on full lock at all and I never adjusted the lock stops but they do stick out a fair bit and it would be better to have wider arches. Its not lifted.

You must have no articulation then not to destroy your arches

I had to trim away some of the plastic of the arches, mostly the lip

When the wheel moves up it also goes in so its not much of a problem

On the front it hits the extended bump stop and the tyre is within mm's of the tyre

The back must hit somewhere as the arches have come loose

I will replace the arches when i find some I like.
