G Morning all!

After some advice, got these freestyle wheels and spacers that where fitted by previous owner. Some of the wheel bolts are spinning on the spacer bolts so I want to ideally get them off and get rid of the wheels and spacers. They are currently on 285/75R16 tyres and do scrub on radius arms on full lock anway

I'm struggling to find info on what wheels/offset to fit

Found these modulars with ET0
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/X4-NEW-1...159034?hash=item3630c08bba:g:lG4AAOSwx2dYG8jS

and these which show 'ET08 - Offset of the wheel is the distance between the center line of the wheel and the hub-mounting surface. These have a 8mm wider track.'
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rov...643178&hash=item3f7640ae3a:g:Q90AAOSwOMlaxAec

I want to keep the standard arches and not go to the larger ones, what ET, or modular wheels am I best getting that are a straight swap and will fit without spacers and cause no issues? Any advice is welcomed :)

Be ideal if I could swap current tyres over also, if not ill just get new ones.

Thanks

I fail to understand!
I take it that some of the wheel NUTS are spinning on he wheel STUDS, and hav stripped threads, and you want to remove the spacers? Is that right??

Yeah never been a fan of spacers, id rather fit the a set of wheels that will fit without.

Yeah some of the wheel nuts are just spinning and not tightening up, these do come off when out okay but just don't tighten.
and I have two wheel nuts that are spinning but they will not come off just spinning so not sure if the studs are spinning with the nut stuck on

Cheers

You won’t most likely fit a 285 width tyre without rubbing and not sticking out of the arches. It’ll be one or the other.

Remeber it’s illegal for tyres to protrude from the bodywork. This isn’t an MoT thing. But a Construction & Use regulation thing.

Stock LR alloys are normally 33ET and 7” wide (some might be 8”).

Probably worth reading up on ET and offset. As for example a 16x7 rim with 25ET will not sit in the same place as a 16x8 with 25ET.

You could wind your steering stops out. This will prevent rubbing but also reduce the steering lock making the turning circle less good. But to retain full steering lock you’ll need to move the wheels outboard (ie a wider track). Which will result in the rims sticking out of the arches unless you go for aftermarket wheel spats.

Or narrower tyres.
