:confused: I just brought a non-cat front pipe for a 98 300tdi will this swap over as a direct replacement for my front pipe with a cat ? (that I don't want).

It was only a £10 on good old flee bay.

Yup :)

That's what I did and just to reassure you it made absolutely no difference to the MOT emissions.

Thanks for that, I've also got an egr blanking plate. Did the de-cat make any difference to your drive?
