Not in bad shape under all the crap. Thought the water would have made it really flimsy

Good to see you back on here mate, 4 way stretch will see you you right I’ll send you a link of where I got mine from was a bargain

No got a 90 pick up (200tdi) and just after a long time searching years! Got my self a 300tdi St John defender ambulance Im converting to a camper for my daughter

Not much! Headlining is in. Didn’t realise how saggy one of the rear nets was until refitted 🤦‍♂️. Slowly ordering engine bits for a freshen up.
Welder isn’t out yet but fresh swan neck, tips and wire are all fitted.
Rear crossmember looks good apart from the top of it so may open it up and reseal with fresh metal.

Thanks! Drives bloody well for it too! I was going to rebuild the engine when welding but I may just stick a belt on it for now. Tempted to put a head gasket on when I do the belt to see how the insides look at 200k!

A good eyeball over the head for flow correction maybe ?

I keep changing my mind with ideas. I think I’ll just keep sorting the body out which is fairly inexpensive and I’ve also got things like bushes and an a frame fulcrum in my Landy box and save to completely do the engine and hit it in one.
Got a mechanical pump here ready to go to diesel bob plus mechanical injectors.
Would then send bottom end for honing and get a new turners head.
My other train of thought is, stick a head gasket on and give inspection like you say, stick new belts on and see how it goes!

Does anyone know what bit this hole was for? Was there a liner attachment available that clipped into it? If so I need it to finish it off 😂

Headlining looks good! What’s in the glass on the armrest box? Stella, samigel or Perroni?

Ordered a ton of corroless and some thinners. Not sure what I’ll top coat stuff in. Wanted epoxy mastic but that seems to have gone silly prices. Got a couple sets of bearings and washers etc in stock. Think I’ll start on rear axle today in between house jobs and get the needle gun out.
So much better to have an idea of what I’m doing this time and also have the room and not worry etc. I can take my time and enjoy it all. The neighbours are sound and seems there won’t be tooooo much grinding and chopping anyway.

I always took wine and chocs around to apologise for the noise and mess ...

Nowt done yet - been busy with work etc. hopefully back end of the week I’ll be able to progress. Need to buy a gazebo too.

I did win an engine crane and have decided I’m going to repaint her in a flat colour - I do love the standard colour but every panel has damage or Ali corrosion on. I’m going to do the lot in epoxy primer then nisocoat, couple panels at a time. The bay will also be done once engines out and I can weld bulkhead spots
