Hey all been a while since i posted on this thread.
been playing with my series too much
but that needs a galv chassis which i need to save for so thought I'd finally continue with this project.
Anyway as the chassis has been sat up against the wall for a little while my previous work has gained a bit of surface rust. But nothing a good wire brushing with an angle grinder can't get rid of.
Welds still look good. And once I've done a little more welding it'll be ready for rust treatment and a couple of coats of paint.
Most of today involved sorting out the engine/transmission position. There's a fair bit of movement in the removable crossmember so moved it all as far forward as possible then tacked the engone mounts in position. Tomorrow I'll weld them in properly and take some photos once the engine is back out.
Couple of photos of engine and transmission in position.

Also tomorrow I'll see about sorting out the bulkhead fitment. End of the week I'll also be sorting out buying the tube to start building the cage.
