Is it feasible to move a bare 90 chassis on top of a 90 using a brownchurch style roof rack or am I just being daft ?

Not the best idea... too heavy , top heavy. unstable.......

But if it was a rolling chassis, when it DID flip over at least you could keep rolling...................:oops:

Cheers

Yeah, take a dash cam ... ;)

Thanks for the replies, Looks like the opinion is unanimous, renting a trailer won’t work as im never going back to where I started and the trailer rental people wouldn’t like that will just look at shipping options instead

Where from/to?
Someone may be able to help.
I'm heading over to Ireland and was playing with the idea of going via Liverpool to pop in and see family dump some xmas pressies then on the boat to Dublin then heading south to cork and back via Rosslare. I was thinking of making a detour from Dublin and getting a chassis from the new galv chassis firm in Armagh and dumping it in Cork to collect on my next trip in a van (I want to go in the 90 this time as its winter and there isn't a real road to the house) Probably a bit daft but I have had stranger ideas before

They deliver throughout the UK, so would have thought delivery to the Republic wouldn't be too expensive?
Shame they don't do the Disco chassis - yet!
