The Transmission Brake shoes on my Series 3 SWB 2.25 petrol are soaked in oil so I guess the oil seal needs replacement. I can't find anything about how to go about this in the manuals & forum. Any guidance would be appreciated.

mark the prop front and rear flanges with a file , so it can be put back in the same position
remove the rear prop bolts.
remove front prop bolts and prop. make sure it dont come apart.
remove the handbrake drum
remove the large rear drive nut
remove the output flange
remove the oil slinger
prise out the oil seal
replace oil seal
remove all brake parts
wash all parts in petrol
make sure all moving parts work correctly
regrease the adjuster
lube all the handbrake mechanism
replace all parts
pray

at the front of the brake plate underneath there is an oil drain hole. ensure this is clear else the oil will fill up in the oil slinger section and pour over into the brakes.
