Transit wheels

The tires guys told my other half her tires were off a transit (or van in general). Not fussed as she just drives on road anyway, but got me wondering. Do Transit wheels fit a disco mk1? Was looking today, and they look about the right size. Anyone know?

They are 16".but I'd of thought stud patten would be different.

But I was looking at some today, and the looked very similar, thats why I'm asking if anyone knows. Can't find out on google, or on here.

must be different on the newer transits.... upto the smily ones .. mid 90s... they were 14 inch rims... 5 stud on the single rear wheels and 6 stud on the twin rear wheels. think mine were all 185 -14. same 6 stud wheels fitted the ldv twin rear wheel 400 vans

maybe they were on about the tyres being from a van not the wheels??

Don't just look at them .. you need to get 'proper' dimensions of them, offset, rim size, depth, hole size, chamfer size any measurement that's available. If there are any differences then it's a judgement call as to how much 'different' it is and whether it's a safety critical difference.

But why bother? Disco wheels seem pretty cheap to me ...
