Hi folks,

Had another interesting occurrence today. Went to stick the disco in low and the lever just went all of a sudden.

Thought something major had happened but I still have drive but stuck in high box. Lever just waggler about. Any suggestions?

Manual TD5 with traction control

Just goggled it. £200 from paddock.:eek::eek::eek:

I happen to have a cable and lever I've removed to fit CDL.
Message me?

Neil

Just to help others out, with my small experience.
I've recommended to Kyle to spend his money on a D1 range and diff lock lever (if his transfer box has the shaft fitted).
Would anyone else agree this is a step forwards?

The levers seem to be the same money as a used cable but offer so much more!
(I've just fitted one to mine - can you tell?)

Revival of an old thread here but actually only just getting round to sorting this problem.
Turns out I'm not lucky enough to have the CDL internals on my transfer box so it's a cable job for me.
Had a discussion with my local supplier about them and apparently only 2 companies manufacture them, LR and Britpart.
They went on to say that they had problems with the Britpart one not being right so would only supply LR ones from experience.
£139.99+VAT later the cable will be here next week :(

Hi @KyleAsh91 ,

So do you have the internals for the transfer box fitted? or are you going to get them?

Then you need the lever system. Have you looked at the ashcroft website and reviewed everything you need?

Cheers

No internals aren't in there. Just decided the cheapest option is to replace the existing snapped linkage. As much as I like and prefer diff lock over the traction control, for what I do with it I can't justify the cost of fitting the internals
