Transfer box

Hi all is there a transfer box that offers 2 wheel drive as well as 4 high and 4 low for a Disco Td5 been using a Landcruiser out here in Africa an it works well. Would be good if Landrover had the same choice

you can make it 2wd and 4wd in difflock ,but reinstating diff kock isnt a problem since you need to remove centre diff anyhow ,ive done quite a few so lt230s can bew used in series trucks but would work in disco or defender

Thanks for the reply so how do I go about this.I read about reinstating the difflock in a post on here.Take by reading ur post that theres a bit more to it

box needs to have front housing removed which can be fitted or changed for diff lock at same time depending if or how much diff lock mechanism is in yours ,center diff needs removing and rebuilding with kit in and with t/box now having difflock it can be run in rwd with box out of diff lock and 4wd with box in diff lock,not difficult work but amount depends on whether your box has mechanism or hole in front casting for it
