hi
put my 90 in low box today to tow something out of a hedge (first time in since the snow ) now it is really hard to get back into high range and keeps jumping out.it was the same last time and i held it in high box for a couple of miles and it was allright.now it just wont fecking stay in there,is it a linkage or somfing worse?,i have a disco here and going to take the transfer box out when i have time ,but really was not planning on it right now.going to look at linkages tomorrow is that the usaul culprit?
cheers

check link age is set correctly in that it will go into both high and low fully there is 2 x 13mm spanner sized nuts in linkage near t/box end for fine adjustment

thanks james will try that ,as a rule of thumb how much adjustment is 'normal'
just so i know i am not barking up the wrong tree.

lever movement is restricted so that it only really goes in both properly if adjusted well it adjust it so that you can feel it click in and lock and then other gear the same, sounds like yours is only just going in and not enough to lock ,could be worn high gear dog teeth but linkage is most likely

thanks again:),the 90 has only done 130k so i suspect the linkage is the culprit.
