Classic with the LT230 box?

1. Put the handbrake on & if it's a manual put in gear (chock a wheel) & try that.
Or
2. I've got a length of angle iron that I've drilled to take two of the prop shaft bolts & cut a half moon out to better fit the flange & allow access to the nut with the socket. Bolt it on then the other end reaches the ground. I do the diff input flange bolts with it as well.

You'll probably need a breaker bar for extra leverage.

I think he has a P38?

I don't recall any issues getting mine off, or Dopey's.

I do recall the one on my refurbed transfer box from Ashcrofts kept going until I put the flange in a lathe and polished where the seal goes with some very fine Wet and Dry with a bit of oil. Fine after that but took 2 genuine seals intil I twigged which hurt my wallet.
