Transfer box ratio change - worth it?

I’m getting an exchange transfer box from Ashcrofts for my 300tdi 90. Is it worth getting the 1.2 ratio?
I don’t tow anything heavy other than trailer and kit car

Yes definitly. As long as you have a tdi or later engine. Mine added 8mph for same revs in 5th. It is also still perfectly capable of towing and manages fine with a twin axle car trailer with my fordson major on it.

Definitely. I fitted a 1.2 box to my last 90 and the difference it made to motorway driving was noticeable. If I need to replace my transfer box again its something I will look into.
