trans drain plug

Hi guys
any advice on my trans drain plug on my 90 300tdi
Went too change oil today and checked to make sure my filler plug came out first, then went too undo drain plug,, it got a couple of threads out and now just spins

luckly it nipped back up with no leaks
any advice

but will have too get the old one out first
