Traction track tyres

Oh yes, another tyres question... :flame2:

Actually more of an invite on views of people who have or had the insa turbo traction track tyres. I've searched on google for ages and have read a few reviews and comparisons, but nothing written recently. Does anyone have a set that they're using?

I would like to know how they compare to the BFG Trac Edge that they're a copy of if anyone has experience of both? I've been looking at 215/85R16 to give a bit of extra clearance under the diffs - should be around an inch higher than the standard 235/70's or so I'm told...

ive had them, found them very noisey on the road

I've also driven defenders with them and agree very noisy

Can't comment on the Insa version but had some of the original BF versions and they were a great compromise of an AT and an MT.

Also had a set of the Bronco remould version before Insa started making them and they seemed just as good, and not too noisy.

Hmm... Interesting...
I'm not too worried about the noise, just fancied something different to the BFG ATs, something slightly more aggressive, but not a full on mud tyre.
