Hi All,
I have been told to ask on here from a facebook page. I have a 2001 Dhse with a traction control issue. I had a front diff replaced before xmas as it failed, and was told if a hub seal leaks then bring it back and they will replace it. So i did, new seal in and abs fault came up, so they adjusted the sensor, cleared the fault and off i went. I got 100 yards down the road and had to go back and pick up my front prop i left behind (viscous has seized and destroyed the replacment diff!!!) When i arrive back the abs pump and valve were clicking away when stationary??? Tried 2 more sensors in it, and at one point if you left the wheel straight it would stop, but turn a wheel and it started again. After then swapping the front hub and shaft it made no difference. If you drive it is all fine and the abs works as it should etc. I got home and noticed that if when the block is clicking you touch the brake pedal just enough to turn the lights on it stops, also if i up the rpm to 950-1000 it stops as well. My nanocom shows no faults with either wabco system. And when i first start it and the abs and traction lights are on if i drive slowly all sensors are showing the same road speed. But as soon as i drive fast enough to put the abs light out the values seem to freeze???? Any ideas at all? failing abs/traction ecu?? i dont notice any water ingress that side.
Hope i have explained it well enough. I'm not very technically minded .
Cheers
Rob
