Need some advice please:
I've got both TC and HDC lights glowing amber. I've searched the forum and found lots about the three amigos ie TC, HDC and ABS lights. However my ABS light is working as it should - it comes on when ignition is first turned on and then goes out seconds later.
I would have thought that if you have a TC and HDC light on, then it follows that the problem is ABS related and therefore you should also have an ABS light on. Is this right? Initially I thought the warning lights may be due to an ABS sensor but again, the ABS warning light would be on - wouldn't it?
Next obvious question is that if the ABS is ok, whats causing the warning lights? HDC gear lever switch connections look ok...

Why aye! Far too hot for all this computer malarcy. It's only because my cold drink's next to the PC and that I can't be bothered to move that I'm even on here!!

All three lights on mine too, replaced wheel sensor, still on, replaced CV Joint now there off, only problem was i took to land rover to get fixed and it cost me £372........

I already have a v8 defender, but was taken by a Freelander which was going at a very reasonable price due to someone returning to the UK. Oh, he said, by the way, the abs doesnt work. I thought, well, at my age(63), that shouldnt be a problem. Then I noticed that I had what you fellas have named the 3 amigos lighting up my dashboard. Took the car in to the agents, who told me that the abs refused to talk to their computer. ie, replace, dont fix. Price of the car N$60000. Quote for a new abs modulator from them N$36000. I suppose I shall just have to get used to the lights on the dashboard.

Apologies. I should have added to the last post that I live in Namibia. The prices quoted are in Namibia Dollars, which I think at this stage are about 15 to the UK pound.
