I know this sounds daft an cant believe it myself but I have been offered a mint 4 ltr diesel 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser, for £800, from another army mate. I know its not landy, but would the engine with only 120k easily fit a series. Have also seen that the axels are pretty handy too. My mate has owned her for the past ten years as a tow car, but has hardly used, with no rust what so ever that I can see on the chassis. Would a LWB be an effective cheap off roader or would a tax et series 2A which is my dream landy and fit her with axels and too. br an easy convertion

I would buy it and keep it as it is...... the land cruisers are good fun off road. and you can get loads of kit in it.

Biggest selling car ever in australia...
