Well i've agreed purchase of the one in bradford and should be flying up there on Tue pm to view and sign on doted line if happy.
If anyone can give me some good pointers at to what to check more closely on the test drive and walk round, that would be great. If there's anyone nearby for a check over with me that works on these, that would be helpfull.
I've brought a number of vehicles so def not new to me, but this model surely is.

Not teaching you to suck eggs but check absolutely EVERYTHING works properly, play with the suspension, low range etc etc and take for a good 20+ mile drive if you can.

I think bushes are a big thing on the RRS as is the D3 so check for knocks and noises over bumpy surfaces.

MOT history check it too, check any recent advisories etc. Always always always get a HPI or 'mytextcheck' to ensure it's not a lemon too!

Best of luck with her

Thanks for the advice.
I walked away from the one i went to see, but did end up buying one elsewhere and the only disappointment on this one is the wheels, but i can change them.;)

Now i'm reading through the self destruct manuals :)
has the standard removable tow hitch but going to look for the adjustable height version and need to sort the wiring for hitch.. so more threads to come.
Exciting times.;)

Looks very nice, IMO shame it doesn't have the cream leather (lots of the sports seem to have dark coloured leather!) Would contrast lovely with the black.

What's wrong with the wheels.... Not big enough???? :p

:) I'm not really a rupert, or richard lol, but i am an essex boy deep down.
I don't mind the 22" wheels but would prefer to stick with 20".
Don't get me wrong.. the wheels i have are nice, and in excellent condition.. near new condition, but there is 1 style i really do like.. see pic, which tend to come in 22" although the RRS i was going to buy did have a 20" version, so i know their out there. This is the 22" version: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/22-GENUI...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
I am also liking these though: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-Ro...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Towing electrics are being fitted tomorrow, then i need to sort a reversing camera for mrs and she's away. ;)

Sorry we got it wrong you want smaller wheels which makes a bit of sense with the horse box, smaller rims then higher profile tyres will work better of road with the horse box.

we get so many on here that just want to fit the biggest rims they can and then moan that the steering and handling have gone a bit funny.

I don't know the towing/suspension setting on the Sport BUT,as larger wheels can upset ride and handling, I dread to think what would happen with 22" and a horsebox. I think you need to decide whether you're a drug dealer or Boycie :p:D

Boycie... rather be dell boy though.
Its 20" i have now and really want to stick with that. But hard to find what i like in style in this size.
It's my wife's car but got to put my mark on it.
Like i say.. essex boy lol

I already have these:
