Towbar TD4 04 plate

Hi all,
I have just got my new Freelander TD4 04 plate and am looking for a towbar. Does the 02 - 03 also fit the new shape 04 plate or not.

Yes.
At one stage detachable head Landrover bars were going for £100, a wonderful buy. You could try Duckworth Parts in case any are left.

hi, yes the do fit, took mine off my old 03 reg and fitted to my 54 reg.

Sorry for all the questions but I cannot find a tow bar for a reasonable price.
I have found one from a V reg. Does anyone know if this will still fit the 04 TD4. I would hate to get it and find it doesnt fit. The fittings look the same.

Without being 100% certain of it fitting I am sure enough that if it were me I would buy it. Having fitted one to an 04 I do not believe that any change has been made to the basic bodyshell in that area.

why dont yu just go to a towbar site and see if a tow bar covers all of those years - or if the tow bar changes - if its the same tow bar - yu got a good chance it will fit.

in fact i just dun it fur ya - its the same tow bar - 97-06.
