Tow hook - same for Disco 1/2?

Picked up my 99 V8 Disco today, need a hook for it, are they the same for different models or do I need something specific to the shape? Cheers.

if you mean a tow bar then i have one here for a disco 1 which is going really cheap but i am unsure if they are different between the mk1 & mk2

They are different I'm afraid.

There isn't a lot of difference but IIRC there is enough to create a problem.

Shame, as I did have a nice one you could have had for £45 a while ago.

Also consider whether you would be better off with an adjustable drop plate as opposed to fixed. Mine is fixed and tows the caravan perfectly, but if I was to put on 2" lift kit it would be rendered useless
