I’ve been told by the local dealer after I asked that there is a tow bar cover that comes with the factory kit that you can use when you take the swan neck out - I had an XC70 with one which fitted into the mounting hole and covered electrics which sweetened off the back of the car.
Anybody know if it’s the same thing for the FL2 or is it just a blank to keep dirt out of the mounting hole?

On my 2009 FL2 it's just a plastic blank to keep out the dirt from the mounting point. I have a removable ball from witter.
