Hi, I was thinking of upgrading my Ht 1990, 90 to ARB.

The bracket ray is neither there at present (axle or chassis) but I have looked at extreme 4x4 website and they supply full kits inc brackets.

Had a look at the rear of my land rover this morning and I have worries about where the location of the rear chassis railr arb bracket will fit.. as there's currently the tow bar bracket on this part of the underside of the chassis rails.

Done quite a it of searching, but can anyone enlighten me to see if it is possible to fit an ARB to an old land rover and if so how does the rear arb chassis bracket sit alongside the tow bar bracket, ta

Also has anyone used the bolt on axle brackets if so any feedback

Yes, i have also a dixon plate fitted. I am referring to where the dixon plates securing angle iron meets the chassis, there is a bracket welded to this area of the chassis rails. But i may have worked out the solution, extreme 4x4 sell the bracket which looks like it does the job.

The brackets don't interfere with the towball angle irons at all. The angles are bolted onto the tie down loop bolts and the brackets are mounted on the underside of the chassis rail

This is a picture of mine at present, ta
