total rewire of alarm

hi all has anyone removed the factory alarm unit and fitted a after market one in place???
Im planning to do this to my '95 300tdi disco any help would be very welcome

I have it's easy just follow the new alarms instructions but only if u are into vehicle alarms, wiring etc.. If not get a company around to your house to do if for u otherwise u may end up with the the thing going off day and night.

I've fitted only Cobra alarms like all alarm kits they detect current drain so a wire gos to the interior light circuit also a wire to a closed switch (bonnet) u will need new ultrasonic detectors and thats the easy part, now u will need a Cobra interface for the central locking and the hard part is the interface with the vehicle immobliser best to remove/isolate this part and install a new Cobra immobliser or u will have 2 fobs to carry. all the install info is with the bits and bobs u will need, is very straight forward.
