Unbelievable......Just had me clutch done last week in my 2005 td4. Parked up yesterday and noticed fluid dripping from underneath so thought kin hell here we go.
On closer inspection it appears to be coming out of the bell housing through one of the 2 holes at the bottom. I started checking everything was tight....and just to annoy me some more all the gear box bolts were only done upto about 40nm.
So now it looks like it's got to go back in as they must have damaged the seal behind the slave cylinder when they changed it and the gear box was down by 350ml of fluid........

That's rough - I get so annoyed these days with shoddy goods and services - why don't people just take that extra bit of care and check they have done the job properly.

I expect the main input seal to the gearbox has been leaking. This may have been contributing to the clutch failure as it contaminates the clutch and flywheel.

Did you get it sorted?

Nah Mate the thrust bearing decided to eat its self on my drive and as the slave contains everything when they changed it they fu***d the seal. There was even a warning inside the clutch box that they advised being carefu;l or preferrably changing the seal as it was prone to failing.
I don't care...didn't leak befroe clutch and slave change ....now leaks like a bastard....so they're at fault so can fix it.
