A few concerns, I have a 2004 freelander 2ltr diesel ( has egr deleted and aluminium in-line thermostat )
I plugged in my torque pro to check the temp of oil, coolant and inlet .
They all read -40 see below. I was told it's been remapped to 135bhp would this interfere with the readings?. The torque pro has and does work on other cars

If Torque shows -40°C then it's not getting the OBD2 temperature data.
Is any other data available? Battery voltage for instance.
I'm not sure exactly when the TD4 became OBD2 compliant, but I know my 05 SE is. Sometimes Torque drops the engine temp completely, signified be an audible "Ice warning".

There's no oil temperature sensor, so that's not available anyway.

The active sensors are highlighted in light green, on the Torque sensor list.

It sometimes does this on my 02 and 06 TD4s, try unplugging the reader and plugging it back in again.

Resurrecting a thread here for a bit of help hopefully.

I had a cheapo bluetooth OBD adapter a few years ago and it worked well. I'm sure i used to use it to show live mpg. I seem to remember adjusting values in the app to get it more accurate. Anyway, it packed up some time ago but I recently bought a new one. Not a cheapo one, but not an expensive one. It connects quickly and returns some data including fault codes. However, the problem with the new adapter is that i just can't get the mpg readout to work. I know they are hit and miss and not that many sensors are available on the TD4 but can anyone point me in the right direction for App settings to get the MPG readout to work? I also seem to recall previously the intake temp working amongst other things, but that seems to be unsupported too on the current one. Any thoughts?
