Right took the floor out, side bits are a bit rotten too but not bad enough to require new ones I don't think, I will see how much they cost and if they are reasonable I will get them if not plate will do.

The back body section needs fixed, I have an old Disco I can cut the self same bit out of and weld it in as it would be more bother to plate it and it will be to cut the whole lot out and replace it - as long as the door closes properly when I am done I will be happy!

I will try and build up a photo album of this job as it's not well documented on the internet.

I'm at the same stage but mine needs most of the lip replacing:(. Fortunately my local independant, Patterson Off Road in Hartlepool, are making up a nice set for me to attach with the hot metal glue stick:)

remove the two small rear seats, side panels ect. cover the windows with paper as and grinding splatter will 'scar' the glass and there is no way of removing it once it has scared. get a big piece of card and put this against the rear of the front seats as any grinding/welding splatter will again damage the seats, carpets door panels ect.

being as you have seen the pics of my rebuild you will get the idea of whats involved :)
