It was that site that made me decide to buy a Disco and ditch the FL2.
Waaaaay too expensive to be discovering the joys of green laning & off roading in.

i discovered the joys of landing in my rangie l322 :D, iv had the scratched detailed out now though, still new side steps are rather expensive!

loving the new disco tho

cheers mark... think thats the starting point...

it is a bit split in places..

also gonna have a proper look in the morning for any missing nuts and bolts...

Yes, I learnt the hard way too.
That trip to Parkwood in the FL2 cost me £500 to rectify the damage. Had to get all 4 wheels refurbed, the fuel tank cage changed and the reinforced front guard replaced.
Was very lucky to not do any damage to the paintwork. :D

yeah was just i heard a sound like summat falling off just b4 the vibration started..

OK Nick, no probs....It ya gonna break summat, may as well do it properly so the whole car wobbles not just the steering!!!
Atleast you got tommoz morning to have a look see before work
Good luck mate, hope it nothin too serious/expensive

I will be there as its not too far from me, any chance of tagging along with someone as every one I know has dropped out last minute. Never been to this site so looking forward to it, got to be better than Frickley with all the chavs in their suzuki's!

If you see me, feel free to say hello n tag along if ya want, as I'll either be on m own in the car, or with mate Rob...either way only one vehicle, unless I tag along with anyone else too.

Yea I'm on my own in the car aswell, I will be in my bright orange defender with roll cage. Cheers mate and I will see you tomorrow.

Had a cracking day today. Went straight into a few black routes, got to do some winching and sacrifice yet another door mirror on another tree.... an allround enjoyable day.
Mate Rob was in the passenger seat, n was gettin out and taking some photos, so will post up as soon as he sorts them.

saw you a coupe of times, was a good day, iv come home with dented rear quater and minus a wing indicator no idea where or when they appeared but was a good day

nice to see you again joe, got a bit occupied after dinner when john snapped a driveshaft in one of the gulleys and no steering. spent a good hour fannying about with that and managed to snap front half shaft on the 90 not long after so bit of an early bath.

Cool. Yeah, unless its by the burger van or in the car park, seeing people as you pass by can be tricky...finding places t stop n all.
Glad ya had a good day too...

Aw ****!... thought you'd had ya fill with sorting the stalling / filter thing... Ddint realise it had all gone a bit tits up for ya!....

We went down to the pond watchin a nicely sorted trials special with a megasquirt equiped Landy V8 playing...Then led them down the black routes at bottom fence we'd done earlier. Thought we'd need the winch, but got lucky n made it though only knocked mirror clean off, but no biggie. No such luck with their special, it was running very low tyre pressures n ended up popping one of the tyres of the rim...felt a bit guilty, so went back t car park to guide the support disco to 'em with a spare wheel. Smart truck, n first time we've seen a petrol V8 comprehensively stick its fingers up at loads of water....not having a dizzy obviuosly makes all the difference!
...mmm megasquirt is a bit expensive, so might give it a miss for mine tho t be honest

Great place to play around, marshals helpful n friendly.
Here's a few pics from my last trip.
