i went at easter, it was amazing, except the weather. low range was needed just to get to our tent pitch. tom said he was open every day of the year, just turn up and pay ya £20 per car + £5 a night camping.

its down a single track road and isnt signposted, heres a map for people like me that dont bother with the OS numbers

Glad it still open, and its a brill place about the best pay-day site I know of, been quite a few times and still not got round it all yet.

Recommend you go with quite a big group as one often needs enough trucks to pull you out, one can go alone but your restricted to just the tracks, still plenty of them there.

Found the place and its awesome only managed 4 hours before breaking a diff on mine and we had hardly scrached the surface its massive !!!!! managed to get the post code in the end its LD65NB sat nav took me straight there :) :)

Yeah if he gets back to me!! If he's not rang me back by weekend (he usually does), i'll trawl all the other forums mx, quads, slittys etc see if anyones been recently just to make sure, but yeah, up to now theres 4 poss 5 landies goin and few of em are taking their bikes too.

Spoke to Tom today, he still open, still gets grief off the plod and sometimes they still sit at the bottom of the entrance, if they are there he said just drive past, bout 1/4 mile further on theres another entrance to the farm, which is his own and not "forestry commission" which he has recently re-opened.

11th June now cancelled we are looking at weekend of 1st July if anyone interested
