It might have something to do with the straight through system and chip fat :p got a mini cherrybomb muffler going on tomorrow though :D well or thursday depends when it arrives but it was posted today

Least mine burns fuel not headgaskets

har har har har :p

It does have to be doesn't it :D

One thing I will give the gaylander though is they do have decent handling!

I nearly shat meself going down that road at the start! once we started making our way down it I found out how **** my turning circle really is  was very close to the sheer drops

You know, I don't know which one of these posts I want to reply to first!

It was a great day out and I reckon the Freelanders did alright :)

But, okay, I admit it, I did call in to Kendale Land Rover to eye up a Disco today :D Personally, I'd love one, but at 35,000 + miles a year currently, I'd need my own oil well. Does anyone know if they are ever going to fit a 4 cylinder diesel and a manual 'box in one again?

Thanks for posting the Video...

haha I was actually surprised by them! Didn't think they'd cope as well as they did but you two were definitely more at home on the pass than I was……I couldn't get round the corners without scaring myself!

I highly doubt they will fit one as the V6 derv seems to be fairly economical (compared to mine)

No worries, it was the least I could do really :D great day out, excellent company and beautiful views

P.S. did you try out the second half of the lane near your cottage ?

Ahhh yes the green one running BFG's ? Wondered who's that was it looks great :)

haha thanks and if you like it you can always buy it ;) I've just fitted a new one which is a bit less noisy  my grumpy neighbours made two noise complaints so I had to make a small modification and put in the most pathetic muffler I could buy :D

I have a funny feeling that it's this one:

Should be calling in on Friday!

Great vid I was up there sunday with four other fenders first trip to grizedale for me but won't be the last ended up a 300mile round trip :D

Cheers mate, out of question whats the Grizedale one like? I'm in two minds about it as I looked around after we finished on the moors and read that you really need some diff guards on it and a steering guard

There are some very challenging parts. If you went steady and had a spotter should be ok without we had one bent steering guard only cos he's a crap driver :D
