Just got back from my trip to Penzance from Manchester towing 1200 kg van with four bikes on roof and she never missed a beat ! I managed to stay in lock up even on inclines [ 94 300 auto ] by keeping my right foot down just far enough to avoid it kicking down.Ive done the usual mods to help with power de-cat ,blank egr sedimenter ,intercooler but she still seems very slow on steep hills . I was overtaken by other 300,s pulling caravans on hills. The early auto,s were a bit under powered but mine is the none edc model so pump should be able to be tweaked a bit. Anyone know how much it cost to have the pump tweaked. I know you can do it yourself but after having the engine rebuilt two years ago I dont want to risk breaking it :doh:
