What ta do with the 110 ? cant decide .

M.O.T. due and the engine still isn't in.

Needs an out rigger welding on (got new one)

Needs brakes sorting as front calipers are useless.

Also needs new drop arm joint thingy and then it's ready for test.

wont fetch much as it is I dont suppose, 300 tdi engine and boxes are worth a bit though.

Would love someone to give me 1500 quid for it and then I wouldn't have to do the work but that's not goin to happen.

Could tell a few porkies and stick it on fleabay ;)

Not lookin good then:rolleyes:

Could sell the 110 engineless or strip it for parts.

its got a few extras like tree sliders and steering gaurd and full roof rack and new front diff.
Oh and rigged up with a gas conversion.
Could throw in the lt85 and disco transfer box and a good 3.5 V8, just needs bolting back in the chassis .

Then I can get on with things that I can manage to do as the landy is getting too much in my state of health.

I should stick it on fleabay as spares or repairs. It should be desirable as it is one of the early 110s and in good order with only a few miles since the last MOT .... oh and a few weeks tax left...oh and wolf wheels with new tyres

No easy way except put the engine in and get an mot I think but how much would it be worth then and is it worth the effort??:)

When you got your Land Rover you didn't buy it... you married it :) If you have the space, time and can do the work yourself you can sort it now or put a tarp over it and start again after xmas.
If your skint, depressed and getting ear ache get shut... you have to do something :)

Regarding repairing it I'm afraid the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, I find it difficult getting underneath these days and even more difficult crawling out from underneath again.
I love the 110 but am disabled and cant manage the work fixing it anymore. Five years ago I would have had it all done in a week or two but now the grass is growing ever longer under the old girl.

It's hard to decide what to do, common sense says to bin it but I still want to drive it.
hey ho:rolleyes:

If you leave it there it will break your heart everytime you walk past it, get it sold (as a project) and try to forget it, it will be a weight off your mind.

Looking more and more like it's going. I'll throw the V8 in the back and polish the dials, maybe paint the roofrack and steamclean the gearboxes. Someone somewhere wants an old green landrover 110 and will love it as I have done.:)

Make it free and I'll give it a loving home-but if I get any more gf will kill me as
2 vans
2 cars
2 landrovers

caravan
motorbike

space is now limited
