im really struggleing on this decision,

my suspension on my 90 is tired knacked an sagging, so ive priced it up and am looking at either oem standard height or

pro comp 2'' with bearmach springs for about the same price not really gonna being that much off roading if any mainly just for towingmy boat

so wot do you all think, also im gonna be running 265 275 16 bfg at's

Yay i get to say it first. Search, top right under my topics.
I just got the 265's and they give a nice little lift. For what your doing (no real offroading or heavey carrying) just go for some uprated standard hight or OEM it.

Standard fur me;)
Ah'm sure Trewey did a write up somewheres on the problems he had when he lifted his.
Ah've went onto standard (boge) shocks and springs and have noticed a vast improvement with the handling and general ride after havin' heavy duty Super Gaz kit on;):D

265/75 won't give a lift over standard 235/85 or 7.50 R16, in fact they are ever so slightly (2-3mm) smaller than them.

I had tired springs and shot shocks, 110 csw 265/75/r16... I replaced with genuine LR standard springs, went for the Monroe gas shocks with a Britpart super gaz steering damper..... no lift and it now drives very well, huge improvement.
I really cant think of any plusses to go for a 2" lift just for what you use it for.

well job done parts orderd!!! gone for standard height, pro comp shops and bearmach springs, with all new bushes so will keep you posted!!!

ooops did you research the pro comp shocks first?

they dont get highly rated,my mates lasted just over a year before 2 of them collapsed

:eek::doh:

yer looked into them friend of mine who does comp safari and other landy stuff recomended them and ive heard plenty of other good reviews, sooo fingers crossed

set cost about 180 for pro comp shocks a standard rated bearmach springs from mail order 4x4
