.Hi All

I am coming into some inheritance (once I sell the house!!!)

I am looking at getting a Discovery 3 TDI HSE and would be looking into keeping it for a number of years. It will be used to tow my rally car on a trailer to various stage rallies around the country and general use. Looking at spending about £25,000.00 and getting a Land Rover approved one.
Is this a good move or should I be looking at something else. I used to have a Disco 1 V8 on LPG so am used to Land Rover quirks (cold shower every morning from the sunroof!!!)

Many Thanks

Simon

The D3 is like " day and night " compared to the D1 & D2 !.

It is vastly superior in terms of ride quality and comfort.

I wont be moving from the D2 to the D3 purely because I think that the " home maintenance " ability has been designed out by Landrover.

With £25 k to spend you,ll get a nice one.

The friends I have who,ve got them report good things in relation to reliability, not so good things in relation to fuel ecomamy.

My mates got a set of Grabber AT,s on his and it gets him every where he needs to go.

Del.
