Hi all.

Just noticed that at the first start of the day the ABS and traction light seem to stay on for quite a while. I'd say around a minute. For the rest of the day it seems to go out almost instantly. Just trying to work out if this normal or should I be getting ready to buy a new accumulator? Did a quick search but couldn't find anything which related to what I'm describing.

Up to 40 seconds is acceptable for lamp to extinguish as it reaches minimum pressure if car has been stood any length of time. Pump may run longer than that though after lamp goes out. Fluid drains back to header tank over time. That is why you always check level after pump stops. If it is taking over a minute start thinking about a new accumulator.
