different item number.

http://tinyurl.com/drrmu

works.

However, for posting ebay item links, you only need the actual item number:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4612487728

which won't wrap in any sensible line-length

The way I do it is I have a bookmark for the link above as far as the =
sign. If you click that, you get "invalid item", but you can then paste the
item number (which you previously, and cunningly, copied from the page, top
right-ish) onto the end of it in your browser address bar, then copy the
whole thing and robert's yer father's brother.

aha. I see it all now:

"Please note that this vehicle has been re listed. Original listing was
removed by Ebay due to original photographs showing vehicle still with
Cave/Mountain Rescue graphics although text made it clear that these had
been removed. Vehicle is exactly the same as previously listing but with new
photographs."

Hence the out-of-date tinyURL.
