Hi we are picking up an evoque Dynamic later this week and it's almost perfect but it missing the rear privacy class which I want to get done the question is what % are the factory fit ones 20% or lymo 5%? As it's going on top of a normal window tint what would look best?
Also I want some usable but not massive side steps my wife is disabled and needs a step to get in but we don't want a great big thing that looks silly, she only weighs 8 stone, I have seen some ar 4th up in Darby then look quite strong and only £200 but they also look a bit wide.

Thanks in advance

I took mine after bending them?! Off road. It's great watching the kids slipping down the sill..ask at the stealer for the steps. How you tint the rear passengers windows, is it a law requirement on how dark?? If not as dark as you like.

I always thought that rear windows could be blacked out as much as you wanted, and it was only the front door windows and windscreen that had a legal maximum tint limitation.

He isn't asking for legal requirement, he is asking what the OEM darkness is or what'd look beat at least. Rather than just straight up pimped out.

Tree sliders better than side steps. Think Terrafirma do some for the P38.

Unless you never go off road and it is just for looks, of course.

Considering the model and the need for a step fer the missus steps might well be the best option.

Tree sliders int gonna help much fitted half way up the body :p rock sliders would do the job as a step but would look a bit silly on an Evoque unless there was serious need like a propensity to side swipe concrete bollards.

Whoops. For some reason I thought he was talking about a P38. Who let an Ejoke in here?

Dunno, but they should be publicly flogged.

:p:p:p:p:p
As current feelings stand , maybe the ejoke should be in a forum of it's own. Possibly a forum titled, 'I got the key fob but not the real thing' or 'kudos by key fob' or how about ' school run pretender'.

Now now don't run me down remember it's not mine it's my wifes new car. My first Land Rover was a 1952 series 1 it was great and I wish I still had it but still, I have also had a 90 Defender another great bit of kit and I'm sure at some point I will have another one but right now I'm back into my 2 seater sports cars which at this point is a Lotus Elise.
Thanks for the help.

You're a real sucker for punishment :D I had a friend years ago with a lotus drove it once and the door literally fell off its hinges.
Hope you find something on the ebay link that will suit.

Once long ago, got called out to recover a Lotus Elan that had spun on the M6 and hit the central barrier. We literally shovelled most of it onto the recovery truck. :D:D

A friend had one of those, like driving a go-kart. Fun but not exactly quiet in the driver's seat!
