Timing belt marks

Hi all

Changing the timing belt on my defender

Got it half stripped out.

Radiator, cowling, fan, alternator & water pump off

got the big pulley to undo and the timing cover to remove

How do i find TDC and is there any marks to line up
Have found some threads re tools etc, but none re what to look at and or line up.

If not can i just mark the pulleys and put it back where it was

May take some pics to post on the forum as i can only find pics for 300tdi belt change

theres a in slot in fly wheel housing drivers side top ,cam has mark on pulley and housing pump has bolt on side in what looks like another bolt remove and using pin or torch you find the edgew of a disc it has slot for pin to locate but can be seen ,3 x nut holding pump are slackened with injector pipes for adjustment

Did the timing belt a few days a go all good< took loads of pictures so going to upload them soon

Mine had threads in the pulleys so could have screw a bolt in and pinched then to the block but hey ho
